We’ve recently been asked a bunch about the gear that our musicians use. Because we’ve got so many different players, all with different gear, it’s kind of a hard question to tackle. But I thought I’d start by posting a few of the different amps that our guys play through.
The standard amp, that the majority of our guys use is Fender. Blues Deluxe. Blues DeVille. Hot Rod Deluxe. These are all pretty classic amps that aren’t crazy expensive.
Other amps that are used are Dr. Z’s. Maz-18, Prescription, and Stangray.
We’ve also got guys that use Badcats and Matchless amps…
I know this is a broad variety, and so much of the tone is determined by other factors, but I hope this gives you a starting point.
